Ok, guys sorry if this is a stupid question. I have a nighthawk r7000 router flashed with dd-wrt. I reinstall windows on my computer probably once a month because i mess it up that much lol *cough cough* hackintosh.  I dont keep any important files on my windows drive so I find it easier to reinstall. I have a custom windows image with my drivers, application and product key.  Do you guys know if there is a way setup the router to work as a "Re-imaging server" please note this would be for my PC only and i have a 120GB SSD hooked up to my router.

I would simply keep a USB with installer but I always end up loosing it and a DVD is just to slow for my liking. :P

Sorry if this is the wrong section or a dumb thought.  I'll be honest im a noob

If this 120gb ssd is acting as like storage, then you could just keep a usb with windows PE and make sure dism is on the boot media, then create a wim image on this storage attached to the router and use dism to apply the image every month if you can access it via the network... I don't think you're going to have much luck with other methods but could always try different ways until what suits you haha

So the 120gb ssd, is it hooked up to your router via like a usb drive bay?? Could work I guess :P

I'm going to put a link to my PC specs which actually aren't my PC specs and I cry myself to sleep everyday so I can have these PC specs but I can't afford these PC specs so PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs.

What's a hackintosh? I have no idea what you are talking about ;).

As for how to do this see @BSpendlove advice, you'll need a network share and a WinPE boot USB or PXE Boot server that will give computers PXE booting the WinPE image, if you go down that route you may as well just use WDS but Windows Server isn't free and won't run on your router.

Easiest option is to not lose the USB installer lol
