Touchpad drivers on laptop???

Do you have the proper touchpad driver installed? If so, that should make it work right.

I didnt install anything. windows just installed whatever it is using right now by default. I know it is capable of 2 finger scrolling though as all the other alienwares I have had can do it and im almost positive that the 2 minutes I had it on when it was factory it was able to do it

That's your problem. Those are generic drivers, not the proper ones. Use the links @BlueChinchillaEatingDorito gave above.
