Not satisfied with performance

I have 2 Dell U2717D monitors setup to a 15” MacBook Pro 2017. The 1440p wallpapers/pictures look excellent but when it comes to watching videos in YouTube especially in 1080p res, the videos seems to be blurry or grains and in 1440p the videos aren’t great either. I can see the frames moving in the videos not the best experience. 

 

Is this due to MacBooks graphics card which is AMD Radeon 4gb or something to do with the monitor? I would be eventually connecting the monitors to a new PC with gtx 1080/1080ti soon. What would be the best alternate monitors. Would be gaming, movies, streaming.

youtube compression is a joke. no problem with monitor/gpu.

Go watch video on vimeo and you will realize Youtube is utter shit when it comes to compression. H.265 exists and is better in every single way except Google insists on using V9

Does it only appear blurry on the 2 connected monitors, or is it also blurry when viewed in the laptop screen? Does it also look grainy when only 1 external monitor is hooked up?

Yes, HD videos in Vimeo did make a difference compared to the same video in youtube. I did not know that! 

But vimeo has limited videos content compared to youtube.

So how is this monitor for gaming? Haven't tried any gaming so far until I get my PC. Is it worth it? Not a professional gamer.

Its almost the same quality in Macbook pro too. Was thinking if Mac could not handle the dual monitor setup and lost quality.

The only thing i saw an improvement of quality was in moving from VGA to DVI-D. Gpus just dont lose video quality.

Same thing. It is digital. Vga is analog. The only difference is in bandwiths and type of connector. DVI_D having lesser bandwigth and a older larger connector.
