Can I still use this feature?

If I buy this monitor (here it is just click on me) but I have an NVIDIA graphics card, could I still use the 144Hz refresh rate?  Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Yes, you just don't get G-Sync to reduce tearing and whatnot.

Would it still be better than say, 60 Hz even w/o G-Sync?

If you've got a GPU that can handle/take advantage of the high refresh rate then you'll be fine.
