Define "slow"

How are you measuring "slow", are you running speedtests, what background processes are going, is something downloading while you try to watch?

Do you get the same results on other devices like phones or other computers?

How far away from the router are you?

What model laptop and what model router?

Could you link to the actual speedtest.net results, and let us know the exact make and model of your wireless modem / router as well as the devices you're testing with?

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | REDACTED - 50GB US + CAN Data for $34/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

@brandonmufc06 What I usually find is people on the same network are using it. Usually, one way to troubleshoot the problem is to unplug the Ethernet wires, factory resetting the router (for peace of mind)* and finally plugging each device onto the router. Gradually you will find the culprit. Coming from a guy who buys 175mbps that was only getting 70mbps. If it's a laptop connect a Ethernet cord directly in and see if anything changes during the speed test.

*If any configuration are wrong resetting should fix it.

Last case scenario would be calling your internet service provider.

first are you using the isp hardware?

2.4ghz or 5G band?

wifi isn't the greatest for high bandwidth demands
