ya you should be able to oc to 4.0 the stock can nearly do it and the 212 is better

Hyper 212 is pretty good, if you want to overclock you might have more luck on the 1600X but benchmarks around the place show it varies, so if you want to save ~$30 and get a stock cooler you can flog on craigslist/ebay go with the 1600.

i'm just gonna get a AM4 bracket for the evo and possibly get a 1600X and squeeze that performance difference between this and the 8600k
