GTX 690's in SLI or Titan??

Okay I got 2 GTX 690's and an original Titan 6Gb for free, which of these would be the better setup (I'm guessing the 690's but idk). I am going to be using it to build my girlfriend a pc that can run PUBG (she recently moved in, never had played on a pc before, now she's addicted to PUBG lmao). So do you guys think either of these GPU setups would run PUBG and current games? Thanks, Cheers!

PS: The GPU's I got from two complete systems given to me for free, so on top of the GPU's I got a 4930k, a 3930k, 32Gb (8x4gb sticks) of Corsair Dom's, 32Gb (4x8gb sticks) of Corsair Vengeance, two AX1200i PSU's, a 1TB Samsung 840 Pro SSD, a 240Gb Corsair SSD, 2 2TB HDD's, a Corsair Case and a Lian Li case (both cases are in pretty crappy shape). But hell yeah i thought it was a great find for free!!!!

CPU: i7-7700k 5.0Ghz, Cooling: Corsair H115i, Mobo: MSI Z170A Gaming M7, RAM:  G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200, GPU: MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X, Storage: 240GB MyDigitalSSD NVMe M.2, Two 2TB Seagate HDD, PSU: EVGA 850w G2, Case: Phanteks Luxe Tempered Glass, Display: 22" 1080p Samsung S22C350 (NOT for long lol) Keyboard: Corsair K70 Lux RGB, Mouse: Corsair M65 Pro RGB FPS, Sound: Corsair VOID + 2.1 Channel Speaker System, OS: Windows 10

the 2 690s are basically 4 GPUs in SLI...

and then the original is a single card.

with that put into consideration, look for the benchmarks and decide yourself.

Early 2020 Build : Intel i7 8700k // MSI Krait Z370 // Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Aorus 5700 XT // NZXT H500

Early 2019 Build : Ryzen 2600X // Asus Tuff X470 // G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8x2 16GB // MSI RTX 2070 // NZXT H500

Late 2017 Build : Intel i7 8700k // Asus Prime Z370-A // G.Skill Trident Z 8x2 16GB // EVGA GTX 1080 Ti  // NZXT S320 Elite

Late 2015 Build : Intel i7 6700k // Asus Maximus VI Gene Z170 //  Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Gigabyte GTX 970 // Corsair Air 240

pubg is still in beta is horrible, i have heard people not able to run sli with it and get bad frame rates

go for titan, even single 690 would perform like a single 680/670

rip

Yeah I mean I had the 4930k system up and running yesterday with the 690's in and man it wouldn't run PUBG well at all, even at very low setting it would stutter, something has to be wrong here right?? I mean the 690's default setting it put on was High but totally unplayable at that, could the SLI actually be hindering it because the 690's are dual GPU's???

YES! That's what i was really wondering, like the 690's are dual GPU's already and then in SLI its 4 GPU's so maybe thats my problem @HZapperz??

Not nessecarily, but remember each 690 is 2 680s in SLI, and for a game that doesn't benefit from SLI like PUBG, it's only using one of the four 680s that you have. And since the game is so badly optimized, i guess the 680 can't keep up.

Since the 690 is one component it might work maybe? If it doesn't I'm sure the titan will at least get you playing at low settings.

It wouldn't work any better than if the GPUs were on their own PCBs. The only benefit to a dual GPU PCB is a bridge isn't needed for SLI. It will still be prone to the same drawbacks as regular SLI.

it depends on what you're playing

an og titan is essentially a 780 with more vram+floating point stuffs, so in games that can only leverage one GPU, the titan will be much faster

Depends on the game and vram needs. Id stick to the titan. Used mine forever, even went to a single card as the cpu I have is trash. 690 would be good for old games though. If you wonna sell one let me know.
