Need Help Finding A New Router.

I am trying to upgrade my current router (TP-Link C50) it keeps rebooting,the connection is always going in and out, and the range is not that good. I found this ASUS RT-AC1200 Wireless Router

is this a good upgrade? If there is a better option under $100 can you guys link it. My home is around 1200 square feet.

when you get anything refurbished you are taking a gamble, and you should only gamble with money you don't care about. so if you are prepared to possibly need to throw it away in 90 days and buy another... go for it. otherwise get a normal warranty.
