Definately get something overclockable since your running lots of ram and a high tier GPU. I mean, realistically your CPU should be fine and shouldnt bottleneck the GPU, but if you must upgrade it then wait for the 8th gen CPU's to become available and get an 8600k or 8700k. Both can overclock in the 5-5.2GHz ranges most of the time, and would give you some crazy overhead for multitasking workloads. If your only gaming though, again, dont really need an upgrade. Could get an SSD for games and programs that can utilize the extra speeds, other than that you have a pretty good pc. What all are you planning on doing with it?

Also what kind of GPU's do you have?
