Hi Guys.
I use a PC to game on, and another PC to stream on.
The video is transfered via elgato game capture, but the sound is a bit more complex.

I have the following:
Behringer Xenyx QX1002USB mixer
Behringer UAC222 (RCA to USB sound adapter)
And a Audio Technica AT2020 XLR mic.

When i connect the UAC222 i get a buzzing sound in the background. I chose the UAC222 since, RCA to micro jack in a pc would not work, due the MIC port is supplied with 5v.
ATM I have no idea what to do. I've tryed changing cable, connecting the mixer and the streaming PC to the same outlet and such. The buzzing is still there. Help is appreciated.

part of me wonders if there's a ground problem with both the 222 and the mixer since both are using usb.

does the mixer have it's own power brick or is it usb powered?

Will work for electronic components and parts

when you turn the main faders down does the buzz disappear?

edit: have you also tried running the usb from the mixer to the streaming pc and using either the 222 on the main pc or running straight cable from the main pc to the mixer and not using the 222 at all?

The mixer does have it's own power brick.

definitely a ground loop in that mess of wires.

Neither of the products are born with ground wiring

Yes - I've tryed having the Mixer and 222 connected to the main pc at the same time, and the buzzing tin the 222 became less significant (the 222 have a jack out you're able to listen through)

Okay after connecting the UAC222 to other devices, i found out it's a sound generated from the laptops usb port, all of them. But all the USB ports work fine?

I found a solution, i plugged in a USB powederd HUB between the UAC222 and the laptop, and the sound became perfect.

Every electrical circuit has a ground connection.

Good to know USB hubs act as ground isolators. Is it a passive hub?

It's an active hub.

My guess is that the USB's from the PC might deliver slightly less or more voltage, which makes the buzz.
