I recently started getting really bad fps drops, in games, but the worst drops are in gta, that go from being like 60 fps to 20. My gtx 1060 isn't overclocked, I have the latest driver, and my settings are optimal. I got no idea why I started getting such bad drops like these. It's interesting because the drops begin after around 15 min of playing. I already tried going into task manager, trying to find out and app that may cause it, but I didn't find anything.

oh and btw when i restart my pc the game runs fine for like 15 min as mentioned earlier.

do you have any AA on in GTA? other than the mirror and water AA, turn the rest off. I suffered from the same thing and my pc is excellent for gaming. I found those fps drops occurred whenever i flew over the grassy hills past the city. When i turned AA off i haven't suffered from it ever again.

yeah i tried turning AA off, but still no improvement. I guess I'll get an nvidia support ticket or something.

Have you tried low settings? FPS drops too? If not, then set your optimal settings and start to switch on/off different setting by one. It's like when you have a lot of mods and one of them is crashing the game, so you should switch them on by one :)

yeah

You didn't answer the rest. How are you expecting someone to help with absolutely nothing to go on.

Don't expect an answer on Nvidia forums either if your entire troubleshooting diagnosis is:

LOL LOW FPS HELP.

Noone can help you with this.
