Glass panel pros/cons

Hi all, quick question, any idea of the noise difference between a case with a tempered glass side panel and a standard side panel?

 

As for the pros, personally I’m not interested in a brightly lit rgb rig but cases with glass panels look very cool nonetheless. 

 

Just don’t want to trade sound quality for looks.

I have a tempered glass case and I notice no difference in acoustics compared to a traditional case. Pretty sure most of the noise would be coming out of the fan holes anyway.

All in all sound shouldn't be affected. Glass side panels do get dirty and scratched very, very easily. I hardly even touch mine ever and it has scratches everywhere.( Fingerprints are easy enough to clean though) Side panels do make a setup look very nice, especially if you have some led lights. Over all I would recommend a side panel, it makes PCs look amazing.

PROS: 

 

+Your sense of style can be visible

+Classy (assuming no ketchup and mustard cables

+Easy view to see if a component failed

 

CONS:

 

-Prepare to have a microfiber cloth handy for wiping

-If it falls, dangerous mess of glass

-Dust under the panel will trigger OCD

Mmm, dust is already an issue with my pc, along with cat hair...

Does your current case have good dust filters?

Those have good dust filters. I'f you're still having issues with dust internally, not much you can do. Externally, you might just have to clean it with soapy water once very so often (maybe twice a month, i clean my filters once every other month and wouldn't consider my house dusty)
