Hey there guys, i am between a decision that confuses me which way to go.

So i am interested in X79 Platform and i listed myself some used and new parts. But then i came along an ad selling X79 PC for cheap (considered). These are the specs:

What country do you live in? In general, $600 for such an old and mediocre system is way too much. The 3820K is a quad core, you can't reuse DDR3 in modern platforms, and Kepler has aged like milk. 

6 core Ivy Bridge at 3.1 GHz doesn't really perform too well, compared to the $200 Ryzen 1600.

Unless you really love X79 and need ECC, something like this build will be better (assuming prices don't include tax, and that you live in the US)

Generally speaking a self built machine is always better than a pre-built (upgradeability and so on) but sometimes there are deals worth sacrificing those advantages. But I definitely agree with @seon123, your pricing is pretty weird. So check all prices where you live and choose the best price-to-performance.

@seon123 well i live in Indonesia where people are ridiculous at pricing old and new motherboards. I will find cheap parts for Ryzen
