z370 poor microphone sound (Help)

I recently upgraded to 8700k, ASUS STRIX Z370-E and i am using a Sennheiser Game Zero headset. After installing the newest audio drivers on the board the microphone started to be very sensitive like the noise gate didnt exist even when enabled in Sonic Studio 3. Had no problem with my old LGA1150 board system. Tried downgrading the version of sonic studio without any result.

 

Reinstalled audio drivers multiple times too. 

 

You guys know what it could be? Bad drivers cause of the new z370 maybe?

Everything default there. No mic boost

It seems like it wont register the speakers as headphones. Normally the icon is a headphone in SupremeFX.

Tried to plug it in the backpanel too.

well since its headset i would just blame  mic, dont really think drivers could cause that problem in this case

Hello, did you fix the problem? I am having exact the same issue with my Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 mobo. I've already tried new pair of headphones
