Hey all! Just got new system and it works extremely well! I have the ASUS STRIX Z370-I ITX board that is "Aura ready" which essentially means that I can download their software and control the built-in RGB LEDs. Currently, the board cycles through the RGB spectrum and looks great but I am unable to control the lighting in the Aura software. In fact, the board isn't even recognized/appear in the Aura software. I don't THINK it's a hardware issue... Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with such things?

Thanks!

Check the ROG forums, there may be updated Aura firmware and software that has not yet made it to the website. I went though that w/ my board when it first came out.

When trying to install the software, I also get a message that says "Can't open AsIO.sys !! ( 2 )". If I close this I am perfectly able to go ahead with the installation, though the motherboard doesn't appear as an Aura device.

I just helped a friend build his first ever system and it has the same problem, it’s also the same board (Z370-I), for the time being I just turned off the RGB LEDs in bios and am hoping for a solution as well.

Well that is actually good to hear then. I suspect it is just a software issue and therefore can be fixed without a system tear-down and RMA. It seems to be a growing issue actually.

I did. I used CCleaner but with no avail. I haven't messed with it in a while now, I may go back and try playing with it again.

go in program x86 , locate asus aura (lightning aura its called i think), uninstall, then delete folder

download asus aura of the Z270 I and install

worked for my z370 F
