No VPN will make you have a lower ping but what it will do it give you an advantage, depending the game and on how the VPN is configured and your DL?UP speed, in lag compensations.

You can tweak the netsh interface and other entries in the registry, group policies, as well as the adapter you use of your OS to lower the ping from the default configuration but it it for advanced users.

You make 30mb speed as bad, not because you hear others say they have 100/100mbps or gigabit does that mean their internet will be better for gaming and your will not be. What you will not be able to do is like host a party of people from other parts of the world as you or happily use like 3 devices at the same time for gaming and or streaming.

As i said those tweaks are for advanced users because you need to go into the registry to make them permanent so you do not need to create them every time you go to game and you have to remember what you did in case you need to reset something for some random program. 80-120 ping is not that bad and if you use LAN over WIFI it will reduce because WIFI is a huge latency generator.

If you open the properties of your used internet adapter you and hit configure you will see a bunch of adjustments you can make, changing those from the default can either lower ping times or stop you from having internet connection altogether.

The real issue you should be worried about it something called bufferbloat that almost all internet subscribers have to deal with, that is fixed in the QoS settings of the router.

Uhh, what? If your ping to server is 80 and another players ping to same server is 60, its all good. It would suck if your ping is 50+ ms higher or lower than average of others. Then you or them or both will experience lagging of sort. For this reason you see 150ms high ping auto-kick rules on well moderated servers.

Only way to really reduce ping is to get distance between you and server shorter. Or if its P2P, distance between you and other person shorter.

This makes no sense and makes me doubt your knowledge of this topic and what you are trying to do because anything under 160ping is good but obviously lower is better.

Go to dslreports.com to measure your interrnet's quality then read and understand the two links below and find what applies to you. I also suggest you go learn your system's components before you make any changes.
