Hello, first off i dont know if this is the proper section to ask this. But im having some "issues" with NZXT's CAM software. It keeps telling me my CPU temp has gone over 81c. When i go check it in the program its around 55-60c depending what im doing. this even happens when im just using chrome. Is it just hitting that and going back down and should i be concerned? I disabled the notification for it but still a bit worried. Im running a 7700k @4.9ghz cooled my a h100i v2. Im kinda new to the whole overclocking scene so im just a bit worried and dont want to burn out my CPU. Thanks.

i wouldent use CAM for the simple fact that sometimes it ends up using over 15% of your CPU... i had it do that so i just got rid of it. it looks great and all but loosing that performance to a system monitor really was just not worth it to me

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spikes are a thing. So it shows notif if you get spike. Thats just bad design, it should show warning if temp is over the set limit for longer time, like 15-30s.
