  1. 1. 27" 1080p monitor?

    • I don't mind it
      5
    • PPI is too low for use
      8
    • No, but for a different reason
      1

Using 24" at the moment and they seem alright, can't imagine an extra 3" would hurt. 1.0

Edit - if it was 27" 1080p ultrawide, i imagine it'd be great still. I do see alot of people say 23-24 is the max "ideal" size for 16:9 1080p.

There's no

"I use a 27 inch monitor and love it" option.

I have a 27 inch monitor and love it.

EDIT:

There's so much screen space. Watching movies is great as it's like a TV almost. When using multiple programs there' tons of space to put everything.

Immersion in games is fantastic as it uses up so much of my peripheral vision. There's so much I adore about this.

27 inch 1080p > 24 inch 1080p, IMO. For anything higher res, I have to use scaling anyway-- the hidden downside of high resolution that nobody talks about

well 27" ultra wide is like 23" its counted by the diagonal space.

No, 27" ultrawide is still 27" corner to corner lol.

I think I get what you're trying to say though. maybe. It's close to the height of a 23" still?

yes its 27" corner to corner, but its a 23" normal monitor size, since ultra wide adds more to the width rather than the hight it makes it so corner to corner is more inches, but in reality if you would count the 1920x1080 aspect of it its really a 23 or 24" monitor.

Yeah I was thinking that's what you meant.

1080p ultrawide is still classed as 1080p, even though he didn't mention ultrawide i thought i'd throw that option in there anyway :P he might have been considering buying a 27" 1080p or something
