Help with z370 mobo

Hey guys so im building this and need help deciding on what mobo, will be overclocking and going with a white and black theme but idrk about the mobo that much as long as it has some gunmetal or grey or black here is what im looking at rn

Not sure what the differences are in the Maximus ones, or the other option is wait another month to see if ASUS releases the rest of the maximus z370 boards in which case it would be the code for formula

I would personally go for the Asus TUF Z370-PRO Gaming it has been a rock solid mobo for 5ghz coffee lake overclock.

all of these would go with my build so idc which one its a matter of waiting or getting one of them that good for overclocking and fuction

that wouldnt look good with my build at all, the yellow and black with a white and black loop

I'd get the Hero just because ROG, but i can imagine the Z370-E will be just fine

It has moderate VRM... I agree not the best ever but it should do it just fine, I personally see the Maximums X as too much expensive.

I have 300$ for mobo, idk how much the code will be, but if that came out within the month i would get it

Well if pricing is fine by you... then it is a no brainer simply get the best Asus offers that goes well with your aesthetics, when you reach a certain level of spending performance wise there is no going wrong.

Problem here was that Intel rushed the Coffee Lake release in a couple of months from when it was really meant to release due to starting to lose market share to Ryzen, the result was that the partners were not really ready for it yet.

 

I also thought about an i7 8700k rig but I wanted a mATX board and those are missing every where as well therefore I decided to be patient enough for a more meaningful upgrade when 10nm Ice Lake processors come along on the z390 chipset.

Why upgrade? you have a 6700k, my current is 4790k i have more a meaning yours is still great?

It is completely sufficient, I just want to upgrade out of hobbyist purpose... I can afford it so why not

It has VRM equal to B350 garbage.
