Troubles with paying for Floatplane - Paypal

Hey guys,

I've decided to buy a year's worth of Floatplane before the proper one comes out, as it was said that early adopters would get some perks.

 

However, when I'm trying to check out on paypal, it tells me to "Please link a credit or debit card to complete your purchase".

I've already got a visa card linked to the account, and when I try to enter the card information and submit, it goes to "processing" with a rotating icon, and then dumps me back on the same page, without an error message.

I've tried this in both Chrome and firefox.

 

From what I've searched already, all others are complaining that they can't use their bank directly. However, I already have a visa card with sufficient funds on it, so I have no idea whatsoever.

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

If I've said something wrong, please correct me

Same issue here. I called Paypal and they said it's LMG's fault. First saying LMG doesn't accept Mastercard which is obviously bullshit. Then they said there was some website configuration issue on LMG's end. Whatever the problem is it is not triggering any error messages that Paypal can see on their end, it's as if I never clicked on the button to process the payment. I was also unable to sign up to the WWE Network through Paypal for the exact same issue. This is clearly a Paypal issue not LMG but if you guys at LMG could lean on them to fix this that would be awesome.

 

I also note that both BenR31415 and I are in Australia so it might be a regional issue with Paypal.

Update: I was able to get through the signup process to the final screen using a family member's PayPal account. I didn't click through as I don't want their account charged for my sub, but it would appear it's not LTT or the PC or browser's fault.

 

Update 2: Just made a new PayPal account, worked without a problem. Now I need to find a way to convince the trained monkeys at Paypal to fix my actual account.

Unfortunately that's a PayPal issue (and their support has been exceptionally useless about it), so there's nothing we can do I'm afraid.

Totally understandable, I'll try messing around with more stuff on their end.
