I accidentally pulled out the cpu without releasing the lever as it was stuck to the heatsink. All pins are still attached and none are bent. I can't easily test the cpu right now so I'm asking if it's likely that it got damaged in the process even if the pins seems to have survived?

Also how do I get it off now? It's stuck pretty heavily to the heatsink (I swear I used thermal paste and not thermal glue xD

It's fine. It's quite common for something like that to happen if the pins are on the processor.

In the future turn on the PC for a bit to warm up the paste. Would make the cooler easier to remove.

As mentioned before, extreme care is the key to whatever you do, but using an exacto knife as a pry tool to break the suction the paste has made is a decent option, or trying to twist it off the cold plate (if the cooler doesn't go over the edges of the CPU, which it kind of looks like in the picture).

EDIT: Glad you got it off. Using about a pea sized or grain of rice sized blob of thermal paste is usually enough.

the cpu will be fine.
WD40 works really great for removing old thermal compound but you NEED to clean it afterwards with Rubbing alcohol to get rid of the oil, otherwise you new thermal compound will start to dissolve as well  :D
I used it to clean cpu's, gpu's and asic miner. It works really well the thermal compound gets runny like cream.
