X370 but B350 is 1. Cheaper and does the job. X370 would be for something like the 1700 and 1800x but theres nothing wrong going for X370 for a 1600x but its kinda impractical

B350 mobos usually don't have great VRMs. Generally if you're going for an 8 core you might as well get an x370 mobo too.

 

Of course, it also depends on which one. Some B350s are ok, some X370s are meh

Yes I just thought out of price to performance stand point might be worth sacrificing the little difference of a x370 for a b350 to turn that 1600x into a 1700... Then again it would still demand to be a reliable b350 mobo like Asus Prime or something.
