for what?

either way get the 8700K over the 7700K and a Cryorig C7 over the L9i.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

What will the PC be used for?

If gaming, the 8400 with the stock cooler will be fine.

You can get cheaper and faster RAM.

That's some really expensive fans.

If you want a Corsair mechanical RGB keyboard for that price, get the K70 or K95.

That's a terrible mouse. Way too heavy, uncomfortable shape, and terrible laser sensor.

The PC37X is often available on Massdrop for $120, and is way better than the Void.

Mostly for competitive and open world gaming.

depending on the budget, id either go for an I5 8600K or I7 8700K here instead. there are already ITX boards out for 8th gen and thats another two cores you get. the cooler you picked is also just worse then the C7 in performance, so unless you need to fanboy or something over the shit-stain brown id get the Cryorig C7 seeing as i KNOW it will fit that case and it has no problems with RAM or anything like that

CRYORIG C7 would be a better cpu cooler. However, the case is quite confined. I would not expect one would be able to exploit the overclocking of the chip.

Consider faster memory.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
