Hello.

I just want to be sure of what I'm doing.

The PSU description says:

1x ATX 12V 650 mm;

1x EPS 8 pin 12 V 700 mm;

2x PCI-E + 2 pin 600 mm;

2x SATA x SATA x SATA  420 x 150 x 150 mm;

1x IDE x IDE x FDD  420 x 150 X 150 mm;

1x IDE x IDE  420 x 150 mm;

So, true or false:

1- The ATX 12v cable plugs into the mobo.

2- The EPS 8 pin 12v cable plugs into the CPU power slot

3- The two PCI-E cables will plug in the graphics card on a configuration 8 + 6 (Galax GeForce 1080 EX OC which requires "Supplementary Power Connectors 1x6pin, 1x8pin")

4- The same ribbon containing the SATA ports will connect to my ssd and hdd.

And that's it.. Alright?

Yes on all 4 accounts.. depending on your motherboard. We need a motherboard to match it with.

atx 12v is probably short for atx 4 pin cpu power connector and cable. It is used on some motherboards that aren't meant to be used with processors powerful enough to require EPS 12v connector

yes, eps 8 pin 12v plus into the connector near the cpu.

the power supply probably has two  pci-e 6+2 connectors, which means you can plug them either in a 8pin socket or a 6 pin socket (leaving 2 pins unused, outside the socket)

So yeah, you'd fill the two sockets on the graphics card with those two pci-e connectors on the cable.

yeah sata goes to hard drives,  ide refers to molex connectos which may be used by some fans , or by fan controllers.

you can use both ribbons with sata connectors or just one , won't make a difference

you also need to plug the 24 pin atx power connector.
