Good Replacement Laptop?

My family's HP laptop broke recently & It's unfortunate as we had the laptop for over 2 years 

Now I'm looking for a replacement. Is there any good replacements? What I want in the laptop 

- Screen to have touch screen 

- Good long lasting Battery Life 

- Somewhere around 500 - 1000

- Somewhere I can buy local (like best buy. I wouldn't mind Amazon but my family prefers local shops)
