Thin and Light Laptop Mainly For School

Looking for a thin and light laptop mainly for school use.

I will be doing some light gaming; CS:GO or Skyrim would probably be the most demanding titles - not sure that I need a dedicated GPU.

Battery life is important - I want to be able to go at least 5 or 6 hours without needing a recharge.

Budget is around $1500 AUD but I'm slightly flexible here.

No Macs please!

Anything with 8250U/8550U or HQ CPUs and good build quality (metal or carbon fiber construction)

Problem is: For school/work and battery life I would go with a really light 13.3". For your gaming the 15.6" class with a gaming or even a lower end dedicated gpu is the better choice.

 

I think OP should focus on the school/work aspect and do exactly that:
