Hi, I recently built my first gaming rig ever, and after about a month I have come to the conclusion that I am not satisfied with the way it turned out visually. In my opinion, I did a decent job with cable management for a first time builder, especially since I chose a case that isn't very popular so I was unaware of the little amount of space I had to work with to hide cables but that's beside the point. I just need some unique, wallet friendly (under $30~40) ideas for what I could do to spruce it up to make it more appealing to the eye. Currently I have 3 additional case fans ordered with blue leds to match my color scheme (mostly white with black, and blue accents). Like I said in the beginning, unique ideas would be appreciated, but here are some questions and ideas to get the ball rolling for things I have already thought of:

-What could I do for custom cable sleeving? *Note* My psu is non-modular, so maybe an extension and hide the stock cables somewhere in the case? Also, would nylon or paracord be best?

-Is there any way I could improve the look of my optical drive? It looks terrible with only 1/3 of it being visible, and looking like it came out of a vcr from the 90's which I guess most optical drives look like unless it was especially made with looks in mind.

- What could I do to spruce up my gpu? It's an evga gtx 1050 so it's nothing special, and I want it to stand out a little more.

Those are just a few things I had in mind, any other ideas would be appreciated. Just keep in mind that things should be non-expensive, so rgb is most likely not an option. Also, the price range I mentioned ($30~40) is for a set of items like the set of 3 fans I ordered, or a set of modded cables. Not $30~40 on one individual rgb fan. Lastly, because I know someone will comment about this, it is my preference to spend a little extra for looks, because my pc does perfectly fine with the games I play. I am not a graphics fanatic, so low-mid settings is fine for me. Later down the line I do plan on upgrading, but only when I am forced to, to be able to play a new graphically demanding game that I am really looking forward to, but that day has not come yet (probably around GTA 6 release). I just switched to pc gaming because my friends were starting to get into it, and I really enjoy being able to customize just about everything in it unlike consoles. Thanks in advance for any ideas you decide to share with me!

If you want a cheap solution to the optical drive, you could in theory just cover it up with electrical tape, It could clean up the look a bit.

I'd go with carbon wrap. It is more expensive, but the result is a fair bit better than tape.

I have wrapped a couple of things in my PC.

Sync RGB fans with motherboard RGB header.
