Running two different cards on the same Windows installation

Just install the latest driver. I have both cards running in the same system fine.

Hello everyone.

I have some machine learning code that I want to test on two graphics cards, an ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5 and a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming. To ensure a fair comparison, all of the other hardware will remain the same, and I'd prefer to keep the same Windows 10 installation. Can you guys advise me on the correct way to go about installing drivers, so that I don't fry one card or the other? Any other tips would also be appreciated!

Nvidia's drivers will work for both cards, you don't have to worry about that.  It's best practice to uninstall the driver when swapping cards and then reinstall it after the new card is installed and powered up.
