Does microcenter still price match?

I am fortunate enough to live semi-close to a microcenter, and was wondering if they still do that price match thing that they used to

I was told no trying to pricematch the 8700k that was in stock on launch day.  I passed for $499. Was told since there was no other stores with stock there was no way to price match >.>
