Posted this on reddit aswell but I thought that maybe some people don't check there so sorry for repost

For the last year, my computer has been "whistling" during games and other resource intensive tasks. Here is a sample of what it sounds to others(playing overwatch): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkJDmHPxMl4 . And here is a sample of what it sounds like to me through my audio output: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHMXC4Z7jeU . I can also hear the sound directly from my case. I have switched the power supply, headset, graphics card and the cpu fan. Now the only thing I can think of is the motherboard, so I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to identify the problem better so that I don't just waste money on new parts that eventually will not help. If any other specifications are needed then please ask.

The only suggestion I got was to try another sound card but I do not own another one.

Your motherboard is possessed. I'd get an exorcist post-haste

Kidding, but I have something similar with my system from time to time.

It's a feedback loop coming from my speakers, and I think it's caused by improper shielding on the sound cable, because it stops when I unplug my audio cable for a bit, then slowly returns after I plug it back in.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.
