How can i make my laptop run well, better.

hardtofindinthefuture

I have a laptop its a OK one but not the best

and its gotten slow recently

ive been uninstalling all the shitware but its still slow as hell

But whats all those Microsoft things in the add/remove program menu

If i uninstalled everything in add/remove programs except the stuff i used would i be deleting drivers?

Is there any other way i can speed it up

The specs are

AMD- A6 6310 1.8Ghz

4GB DDR3L

1TB HDD

But keep in not i dont want to spend any money unless i have to.

Also the HDD usage is always 99% for some reason

SSD should be your first upgrade.

You can only delete drivers from their folders or the Device Manager tree.

^that isn't totally true, there are many drivers you uninstall from the add/remove programs.

You have to understand your device's limitations. What you may call slow is actually the laptop thermal throttling due to it needing a clean of the blower fan or software cleaning. What about the TIM on your system have you changed it, default laptop TIM is known to be good at first then turns to dry clumps of crud after a few months, if that long.

depends on your version of bad, most of the times realtek  is for the internet adapters and or the audio so if those are uninstalled how will that affect you?....

TIM - thermal interface material and it is the stuff that you put between the cooler and or heat pipes and the various components in the laptop to transfer heat to the cooler.

There's some software I heard about called Gameboost by iobit you could try. Also try going into your theme settings in Control Panel and disabling the Windows Aero.

Also uninstalling network and audio will probably hurt

then you are fucked, you will now have no internet connection and audio which are two things i feel everyone wants on a PC. Good news though, you can reinstall them if you get the drivers from the web page for the laptop. The vendors normally put them for free download.

honestly if you want to just delete everything it is just better to do a fresh reinstall of windows in the settings. This will remove all of the unnecessary stuff in the computer and will probably make the laptop run a bit better.

Dont use game boost, crapware that doesn't boost fps or anything.
