http://www.macrumors.com/2013/12/04/german-retailer-begins-taking-mac-pro-pre-orders-claims-december-16-availability/

A German retailer began taking pre-order for the Mac Pro, claiming it will be available from December 16, 2013.

Another French site claimed that delivery to customers may come on December 18.

These dates could be in line with Dec. 16 shipping availability.

Now obviously you're not going to get a Mac Pro for a christmas present (if you are, you must be Eric Schmidt's kids), but it seems that Apple just doesn't care about keeping up with the holiday season with the Mac Pro (duh).

Also unclear is what kind of volumes the new Mac Pro will ship in at launch. If supplies are tightly constrained as it appears they may be, shipping dates may quickly slip into early 2014 with only a small number of units making their way to retailers and customers before the end of the year.

I posted this in tech news... huehuehue

I'm actually looking forward to this. I'm interested in how the noise will be with that single fan design. And btw, I own both a pc and a mac, so I'm not an mac lover or hater :) . And you really don't need that much power to get the same performance on a pc.
