CPU Cooler that doesn't touch ram modules

Hi guys, I have a Ryzen 1700 paired with a GTX 1080. Since there is some bottenecking I should oc the CPU. The only problem is my case has not the clearance for AIO Coolers and has only 161mm availble for the air Cooler height. 

In addiction I have 2 sticks of very high profile ram (team Group team night led 3200mhz) that don't allow Cooler fans to go over them. Can I find an air Cooler which allows me some overclocking, maybe 3.9ghz and not 4.0? Even 3.85

Yeah there is no "bottlenecking" in this build.  The only thing you get from overclocking is performance boost.  "Bottlenecking" is a term I wouldn't use that loosely

cryorig h7 would also work too

If you want to go for a high-end air cooler the Cryorig R1 Universal would be a good choice! It sits a bit further back than that R1 Ultimate and the front fan near the ram is a slim profile fan so it should not interfere with RAM clearance whatsoever. I have the R1 Universal with two Corsair ML120 pro fans on it that still works with my tall Corsair Vengeance LED RAM, yes if I had another 2 sticks of ram I would have to remove the front ML120 and put the slim Cryorig fan back on, but as of now there is enough clearance to fit the 2 sticks of RAM in the slots I am currently populating. Also I am able to hit a 4.0Ghz OC on my R7 1700 and my idle temps are in the high 20's to low 30's and in gaming I'm only hitting like 60 degrees C max and that's after a long session so I am quite happy with this cooler.

Cryorig makes the easiest coolers to install in my experience, even my R1 was super easy.

I prefer installing the cooler from the top of the motherboard....my H7 screws in from the bottom....as it can be more time consuming to remove the whole motherboard to just reseat the CPU or the cooler (or pull the remove before installing sticker off......that'll teach me for upgrading when I'm half asleep)

 

and of course I picked the one that mounts from the bottom yay my luck

If you're not having any problems with the stock cooler, I'd suggest sticking with it.

While cooler doesn't cover RAM slots, fan will. So you would have same situation as with R1 Universal shown above. Heatsink doesn't cover RAM Slots, but fan hangs over 1st slot.

The fan can alternatively be mounted on the other side of the heatsink.
