Charging with lower voltage adapter

I have a bluetooth speaker which came with a 15v adapter for charging, which I'm unable to find atm. I found a 12 v adapter with a compatible connector, plugged it in and have some light (currently unsure of whether the led pattern was usual), and I wanted to know if using it instead could damage any components/ if not, what the effects could be? Thanks in advance :)

what is amperage on the 12v? On the bottom or somewhere on the speaker, it should have a charging wattage/input wattage. Please post that if you can find it. In the mean time i would suggest unplugging it.
