I just had my new rig assembled today, and I got this cool software that came with my CPU (Fx 9370) called ChillControl for my radiator. I was messing around with a few settings and I saw that I could make the fan speed up when the CPU reached a certain temperature. It set it to about 15 degrees Celsius as I wanted my processor to be running quite cool. But as soon as I changed this setting my pc turned off. I know it is still receiving power because the motherboard lights and pump lights are on, I unplugged the power supply and they went off. I am very confused because I didn't think adjusting the fan speed would make the computer unusable? Anyways any solutions would be great because i really don't have any money at the moment. My Rig :

Asus saber tooth 990fx r2.0 motherboard

Amd fx 9370 CPU

Radeon HD 7850 dcu 2

A power 860w power supply

Corsair air 540 chassis

Stock liquid cooler

16gb vengeance memory

128gb neutron ssd

2tb sea gate HDD

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Nathan

can you turn the temp up again? 15 degrees is completely mad. 70 is more realistic for an 9370

Does the rig power up and get to windows now?

Are the fans on the radiator spinning up when you power the machine on?

Does it post at all?

15C is a pretty low temperature target (sub ambient?), you probably want it set a little higher than that.

I do. It think removing the CMOS will do anything because I haven't changed any bios settings, but will a clean install of windows do the trick as it was a setting in a program so won't removing the program set it to its defaults? Thanks, Nathan
