OK so I have had this problem for months where windows will always fail the update on 2 computers that have 128gb ssd's I have 3 other computers with only 1tb HDDs and they update successfully could not having enough storage be a problem for the windows to update to the creators update

SECONDARY PC

  • AMD RYZEN 1600X
  • ASUS ROG STRIX 1060 OC

Sounds like a normal Windows 10 Install to me xD 

 

You should probably run sfc/ scannow in terminal (command prompt) to check the windows install and or reset the machines.

yes. if you have less than 16gb free specs on the C drive will cause it to stop updating to the creators update.

This is a error I had when updating Windows 7. It's because it installed so many updates some of them clashed too much. Try installing small amounts of updates at a time (I don't think it is possible on Windows 10 though)...

thank you all for responding but I've tried all this and I'm thinking it is storage even though I have 40gb free in my SSD I gonna end up buying a bigger SSD and post to this forum if anything updates

i just received my new wd black 512 pcie ssd and installed windows it updates and all my broken apps work i can do everything again
