Not worth it. It might make the drive thermal throttle.

will it work? yes

will it wreck the thermals? probably also yes.

 

just buy a black PCB M.2 drive like the samsung ones or corsair ones and they wont stick out

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Just spend a bit extra and get a Samsung 960 pro as they look decent
