Help me get into pc gaming

I am a console peasant and wanted to switch to the pc masterace but I only have a 300$ budget and wanted all new parts was thinking about getting a Ryzen 3 and a  gtx 1050 or a gt 1030 or a rx 550 but I don’t know what I should get please help me

With a low budget, i normally always go with used/older stuff. Some stuff from a few years ago still slams most new budget/midrange CPU's. It may draw more power but a 500w is fine for most old stuff. I can get you a build if youd like.

Best option for that budget would be an old Optiplex with an i5/i7 in it from ebay and stick a 1050/1050ti in it.

m8 in my opinion get an athlon with the am4 SOCKET and a b350 so you can upgrade if u have the cash and you can probably fit an rx460 actually scrap that 

prob get an old pre-built PC on Ebay

This looks Good but only leaves 100 for a GPU. You can get a good use one for that.

It only says i5 and no model. But its probably an i5-2400 with LGA1155 Socket so you can upgrade to an i7-3770k later. But the i5 is still a good cpu for most games of today.

 And comes with KB/M if you dont have one.

those dell units might not come with enough wattage/connectors for a 960 so he'll have to factor that in if he chooses it.
