Question about Cherry Mx switches

CALBIX

How strong are Cherry Mx switches? I owned a K70 with red switches and it started giving me problems after a year. I think the cause of this was I traveled alot with the keyboard and the rattles and setting the keyboard hard down on the table. I own a K65 rapidfire now and love it but im really scared it will suffer the same fate.

Thats a good idea yes. Can the contacts move inside the switches?

Maybe with extreme vibrations over a long period but most likely not.
