280 or 240 mm rad aio

280= more surface area = more cooler

240 = less surface area = less cooling.

What are the pros and cons of each size (240 and 280 mm radiators)

Of course the larger of the two coolers will provide higher cooling abilities simply because of its overall size but the thing to watch out for is "will the one I want fit inside my case"?  I found out the hard way so just double check with your case maker to see what will fit inside your box.  Good Luck.

280 rads will come with bigger fans along with its increased surface area, meaning less RPM does more work(it's quieter, all else being the same). Like others said, it has to fit in your case though, and almost all modern cases support 240 radiators, not all have the room for a 280, which case do you have/are you looking into?
