How do i get more Voltage stable?

Hi!
I'm currently overclocking an x4 860k on an ASRock A88M-G3.1 but can't get the Voltage above 1.387 without instant crashing on any frequency
Is it just the max the board can handle or am i missing something?

Basically if it won't run at that voltage then you are done, try reducing the voltage a bit and try the overclock at a lower voltage but I would say you found the limit for this set of hardware.

thats rather disappointing, as far as i know the chip should handle 1.5v. and the motherboard seems decent to me. Could the energy saving functions of the board have an effect on the maximum voltage? usually i dont mess with these...

I don't think so, but I am not specifically familiar with overclocking on that motherboard so I am not sure.

I'll give it a shot. im close to 4.4ghz 27min stable in AIDA64. all i need is just a tiny bit more voltage
