[AMD Ryzen] No Post After Crash

Just a little background info, was trying to overclock my ryzen cpu (anything below 3.6 GHz), set ram to 2933 MHz and it booted, restarted the pc and it wouldn't boot to the os.

So i decide to just try with ram and no oc, boots into windows, crashed and after that no post at all.

I tried removing the battery to clear cmos, unplugging connectors, reseated ram and even reinstalling the cpu...

Specs

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • Motherboard: Asus Strix x370-f
  • Ram: 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB
  • Graphics Card: Gtx 970 g1 gaming
  • Storage: 500GB 850evo, 4tb WD Blue
  • PSU: Evga G2 650w
  • Case: Nztx s340

I'm trying to see if the issue is either ram, cpu, or motherboard

Any form of help will be appreciated.

Maybey downclock the RAM to 2666MHz and see if that works. Boot in safe mode.

If you can't get into the BIOS, get an RMA for the motherboard.

Is it stuck in a boot loop when you try to power on?

Have you tried clearing the CMOS by shorting the two "clear cmos"(or something similar) pins whilst the system is trying to power up?

Sometimes just removing the battery won't work, depending how long you took it out for, some cases it needs to be left out for 15+ minutes.

I really really just want to be like " Press F to pay respects." but thats mean so I'll try to help. maybe move power or try restarting mobo with a screw driver. Maybe even consider getting some in person to help you because that would suck to lose a brand new computer.  maybe buy a new power supply but thats all I can think off right now but first just trying moving power to a new socket.

Yeah, it's in a reboot loop

Also tried shorthing those pins, left it overnight without the battery, and still in a reboot loop with no bios splash screen. Monitor is displaying 'no signal'

Ayye.

I'm going to take my cpu to a pc repair shop, if it works, then the issue would be the mobo
