Hi im finalising my build and i need feedback for this build

Mainly going to use this for 1080p high or ultra settings gaming with 144hz monitor. Also trying to have a good looking pc. I choose the asrock mobo for the wifi built in because i need it. Im also going for seasonic focus plus gold 550w psu just couldnt see it in pc part picker.

 

Wondering if i Should stick with the asrock mobo or get something else and a wifi adapter?

Great build, I wouldn't change anything EXCEPT the GPU to better match the color and also a better cooler

If you don't need RGB ram. I would swap the g.skills for patriot viper 4 3200mhz 26gb kit. Got them running at on my asrock fatality x370 itx at 3200mhx on the stock xmp profile. The patriots where on my motherboard's qvl list

I think you should stick with X370 for WiFi because a WiFi with similar speed costs nearly $20, and you dont have the beefed up power delivery of X370 if you go for B350.

 

I wouldnt use the H7 cooler though. The stock cooler is good enough to keep the chip at 75C at 3.85Ghz 1.4V. If you want lower temps or less noise then might as well go full bore on the massive Noctua NH-D15 or Dark Rock Pro 3.

 

RAM is outrageously expensive for 16GB 3000MHz. I guess that's the price for RGB.

 

1TB SSD? Srsly? 250GB or 500GB is already enough. Also the 500GB Samsung 850 evo costs less than half while having half the capacity. If you really want to spend so much on storage rather than GPU then use 2 500GB instead.

 

The Seasonic G-650 is better because it is cheaper and doesnt have the noisy fan problem

 

Just a reminder that the GPU have a small RGB area covering only the badge on the top. Might as well save $10 for the RGB-less Windforce model if RGB is just an optional extra to you. Also, the orange accent on either Gigabyte cards' shroud might ruin the color scheme of the build

I went with rgb ram because its on a package deal with cpu and mobo.

 

Also going for the evga sc 1080 gpu now.

He couldn't find the focus plus on PCPP . Not in general.

yes i meant 16GB. Memory is memory. The actual modules are probably made in the same factory. If the g.Skill's work as the advertised straight out of the box, then ok with me no matter what brand. Just saying the vipers work straight out the box on some Asrock broads like mine. No need to SOC overclock. BTW Trident RGBs have had problems with 3rd party rgb programmes killing ram sticks.
