Experiences with samsung tv game mode

SauliCity

I'm building a budget gaming pc, and my brother has a 3+ year old 32" 1080p 100Hz samsung smart TV (UE32F5700AW)(not the cheapest on back in the day) that he doesn't need anymore. It has a "game mode" but I'm not sure If it's any good.

I would like to hear your gaming experiences on samsung smart TVs.

Pretty much any modern TV has a 'game mode' that will disable most but not all of the post-processing to achieve lower input lag. Typically, a monitor is still the better option but since you already have access to the TV, just go ahead and use it. It won't make much of a difference unless you're into competitive CS:GO or whatever.
