2 Questions about PSU

1. Where and are there any 80 plus silver PSUs? all i find currently when searching for psu these days are just bronze, gold and plat :unsure:

2. Since an 8 pin pcie connector can deliver twice the amount of power a 6 pin pcie connector can, Are there any 8 pin pcie to 2 6 pins pcie adapter?

Silver psu's: http://search.pccasegear.com/search#w=silver%2080 and google that adapter im sure you will find it but what for a psu should have it.

2) I have seen them before so I know they exist, but I am unfortunately unable to find where they are sold

I use a 80 Plus Silver PSU myself so yes, they do exist 

Regarding the adapter question, 2 should come with your GPU, other than those I'm not sure where to buy them.

dayum thats the old version. the new ones are gold. im basically trying to find current good gen psu that are 80+ silver
