VPN Advice

I'm a college student, and my school has a filter on the wifi which blocks things like social media for some of the day. Worst of all access to every VPN I've tried has been blocked, so I can't even use them to get around it. Does anyone know any creative solutions, or any (relatively cheap, I'm a student remember) VPNs that can't be blocked?

 

Any help would be great, just let me know if you need to know more to help out.

I'm not sure how to do this, and I'm not going to be home for at least twon months, is there anything I can do here? I can tehter up to 4GB off my phone, so I can download installers etc.

I would buy a VPS and setup Openvpn on there.


I use Digital Ocean for my Openvpn server and it has worked really well. Just use the $5 droplet.

 

You can get $50 credit for being a student, that should cover your for 10 months for free.

Try downloading opera, it comes with a built in vpn
