PC won't turn on

Hey guys,

I just finished my PC Build but when I turn it on via the power supply all I get is blinking from the power button and the graphics card and it doesn't post on the monitor, no bios no nothing.

Help is appreciated.

Does your Motherboard have a 2 digit number display? If so, what number does it hang on?

I don't think it does. It's an Asrock AB350M Pro4, it could be the ram as I'm not sure which way to put it in or which slot to use.

How long are you waiting for it to post? You are on Ryzen which takes like 5-10 minutes to actually post the first time. And RAM only goes in one type of slot next to the cpu socket and only fits on way so if you put it in wrong the rip your mobo. It shouldn't matter which slot you are using to just get a boot going, slots only really matter when trying to do dual or quad channel.

Yeah, but my graphics card and power button blink which I don't think is normal. None of the fans spin either, even though they are all correctly plugged in.

did you plug in both the CPU 4-8pin connector and the 24pin motherboard connector?

Ryzen 5 1600

GTX 950

1TB CAVIAR BLUE

120GB SSD

8GB RAM 2400 SINGLE CHANNEL

Asrock AB350M Pro4

did you motherboard come with a little speaker thing you attach to it? if you plug that in you should get a beep code and based off whatever your motherboards beep codes are you can find out what the problem is, i was going to suggest just trying one stick of RAM but you only have one to begin with. Which slot on the motherboard are you using?

Turns out the motherboard and cpu wires weren't completely pushed through, everything works now! Thanks for the help

No problem! Yeah, psu connection aren't the greatest in my opinion, thats why i always ask if theyre plugged in. I've even done this before where i thought it was plugged in but it wasnt.
