Hey guys, im looking at getting back into gaming but my pc isnt quite up to spec.

At the moment this is what I have

PC - G3258 @ 4.0GHz

| Sapphire R9 280 3gb

| 2x4GB Kingston Fury HyperX Blue 1600Mhz RAM

| ASRock H97M Anniversary

| x2 Seagate Barracuda 1tb

| Coolermaster N400 Windowed

| EVGA 600B 600W PSU |

Windows 10

I'm know I need to upgrade the CPU to a i5/i7 but don't know which one.

But should everything else be right for modern day gaming at medium/high settings? I'm not gonna be playing the best of games just wanna have something that can take what i throw at it

Any of them that'll work for the board would be a solid upgrade.

since hes gpu isnt the best id recommend i5 in that case :P ( used ofc )

An i5 would be cheaper, but the i7 is more "futureproof" so if the OP wants to upgrade his GPU down the line, he won't have to worry about CPU bottlenecks ;)
