It should be fine.  \

For future reference, refer to this list when questioning the trustworthiness of a unit.

Tier 2b should be fine?

By fine, I meant it'll serve it's purpose, but there are definitely better power supplies out there.

"Tier 2b - Tier 2 units which have either lower longevity or slightly lower quality output.  Still well within spec, and are good units. "

That Lepa is an good high-end unit that is based on the PUQ-G platform like the Corsair HX850v2. For $80 after MIR, it's an excellent deal. Unless you planning to SLI/CFX, it likely overkill for your build though.

TBH, that isn't exactly my go to list for determining what is trustworthy.

Well, I'd based my recommendation by reading various of reviews from sites like Jonnyguru, Techpowerup, Hardware Secrets, HardOCP, etc. I don't really used a "tier" list.

I guess such a list would be helpful for those who doesn't understand the reviews; however, the list is a bit all over the place. A few examples are:

- Rosewill and Kingwin as 5th tier and yet there's a few units that are in Tier 1-2 (they are also missing a few units as well).

- They also list Channel Well Tech (CWT) as Tier 3 while many of the Tier 2 units from Corsair are manufactured by CWT.

- While the NEX1500 was a HUGE disappointment and does not worth the price, it didn't perform so badly that I would classified it as the same tier as the Corsair CX. The build quality of the unit is actually top-notch.

True, I guess this isn't the best list out there.  Thanks for the info :D
