All black/color neutral components with the ability to "color" them whatever you want with lighting isn't going to go away anytime soon.

I only see it ending if it gets replaced by something else that serves the same function. eInk doesn't light up a room, and if we have the ability to make it any color we want (and maybe change the finish look to an extent), it would easily replace RGB on most products (not keyboards).

Wood finish is extremely hard to do right. IMO, the ugly abortions that are this system and In Win's wood accented cases do them extremely wrong.

Asus is pushing the ability of 3D printing custom motherboard parts.

I have a few, one was $900, the other was $750.

I am a firm believer that the prices will become more accessible in a few years.  While I don't think that they will become as ubiquitous as paper printers, I do believe that they will become more commonplace.
